Supporting entrepreneurship
The goal of SCE is to teach and foster entrepreneurial thinking and action. Munich University of Applied Sciences is an important partner in achieving this goal. As a non-profit company with limited liability, SCE’s goals are not dictated by profits and all services are offered free of charge to the students. SCE is primarily financed by the Falk F. Strascheg Foundation with supplementary public funding and sponsorship.
Providing advanced training programmes
SCE’s demanding training programmes are generally team-based, interdisciplinary and practical; they require full commitment from all participants.
Making ideas happen
SCE helps entrepreneurial people make their ideas become reality. SCE does not implement any business ideas itself, but instead concentrates on assisting up-and-coming new companies and motivated teams to realise their vision.
Providing stimuli
SCE regularly contributes to social and academic discussions and establishes campaigns to provide stimuli for relevant topics in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Creating networks
National and international partnerships with institutes of higher education, organisations and companies are essential for the work and further development of SCE. SCE strives to maintain long-term partnerships in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. Our aim is to create win-win situations for all participants and to encourage networking between students, alumni, members of institutes of higher education and representatives from science and industry.
Guaranteeing loyalty
SCE is a loyal partner to all programme participants. All ideas and discussions are treated confidentially and the success of the teams we support is always given top priority.
Increasing the impact
Our programme participants and supervised start-up teams assist SCE increase its influence and become recognised as a provider of innovative programmes and a backer of successful new businesses. Participants can do this by fully participating in the SCE community, and also by actively communicating that they are SCE members.
Acting professionally
SCE sets high standards for its own programmes and employees. SCE also expects its students and supervised teams to demonstrate a continual learning curve in terms of their own professionalism. Constant communication and mutual constructive criticism contribute to the continuous improvement of both parties.
