Innovations-Café
The Innovations-Café, which is generally held by SCE on the first Tuesday of each month, aims to encourage the exchange of ideas and information between entrepreneurial students and guests.
Participants have the possibility over snacks and drinks to find out what SCE can offer, such as business start-up advice and start-up finance, and also to discuss their ideas with other like-minded people. All you need to take part in the free Innovations-Café sessions is an interest in innovative ideas and making new contacts.
The XING group “Entrepreneurial Students at the Munich University of Applied Sciences” is the Innovation-Café’s online discussion platform. Register at: www.xing.com/net/eship
One of our most interesting events hosted Mr Philipp Karmires of “Google” as a guest speaker at SCE. In his exciting talk on the topic of “Start-up mentality as the foundation stone of success”, Mr Karmires considered the topics of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking and action from the viewpoint of a large, established and, above all, highly successful company. A total of over 60 students and recent alumni took the opportunity to find out about the innovation process at Google and subsequently discussed current topics with Mr Karmires.
